Chicken Ranch Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Optional: crumbled bacon, avocado slices, or jalapenos for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Cook the chicken breasts until fully cooked and then shred them using two forks. You can also use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  2. Mix the Filling:
    • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken with ranch dressing. Mix until the chicken is well coated.
  3. Assemble the Wraps:
    • Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface.
    • Evenly distribute the chicken and ranch mixture onto each tortilla.
    • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken.
    • Add a layer of chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onions, and green onions on top.
  4. Optional Additions:
    • If using, add crumbled bacon, avocado slices, or jalapenos for extra flavor.
  5. Wrap it Up:
    • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top.
    • Secure with toothpicks if necessary to keep the wrap from unrolling.
  6. Serve:
    • Cut the wraps in half and serve immediately. Enjoy with extra ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips:

  • To save time, you can use store-bought pre-cooked chicken or leftover chicken.
  • For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas and low-fat ranch dressing.
  • These wraps can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for a quick and easy meal.
